History Center celebrates Armstrong's holiday tradition

Recent highlights:

1. The event included the unveiling of the Rudolph's Retreat exhibit from the former Armstrong's Department Store, as well as photos and wish lists with Santa, crafts, live music, cocoa and cookies and toward the end of the event, an outdoor visit with a llama and alpaca festooned in holiday finery.

2. Michelle Collier and her daughter Piper, 3, of Cedar Rapids, visit Santa at The History Center during the Rudolph Returns festivities on Saturday, Nov.

3. Only this time, the spa with a scrubbing tub, feed bag and straw has moved about six and a half blocks northeast, from Armstrong's Department Store to The History Center.
