Recent highlights:
1. Even with Medicare and Marketplace Marketplace programs, one of four freelancers said that they had insurance in 2019 - and 35% of freelancers prefer to neglect health care due to high costs and high premiums, which on average for one person is colossal 484 US dollars per month.
2. 7 million American freelancers, many of whom are responsible for their personal healthcare and insurance.
3. There are credit systems that help freelancers to pay for insurance, as well as some market programs that are trying to change the situation.
